Department of purulent surgery specializes in treatment of patients with surgical purulent pathology and one of its key areas is treatment of patients with varicose disease of lower limbs and its complications. The department also treat patients with purulent infections of soft tissues: major septic wounds, trophic ulcers, hidradenitis, bartholinitis, phlegmons, gangrenes of lower limbs, diabetic foot, arthropathies: bursitis, osteomyelitis with different localizations. It provides protracted treatment for patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of lower limbs. Following medications and methods are applied for treatment of patients in this group: controlled abacterial environment, ultrasonic cavitation of wounds, intravenous laser and ultraviolet blood irradiation, hyperbaric oxygenation.
