Surgical Department provides highly qualified help for various diseases of abdominal cavity organs and thyroid. It has developed the capability to perform complex operations using latest technology: harmonic scalpel and argon gas. Since 1993, the Department has been performing laparoscopic operations for gallstone disease, hernia, peritoneal commissures, hepatic cysts, appendicitis.

- Ultrasound assisted- and vacuum liposuction in constitutional adiposity. Abdominalplasty in excessive anteroventral cellulocutaneous flap.
- Operations on liver (removal of cysts and haemangioma, tumor hepatic resection).
- Operations on pancreatic gland (pancreatic tumors, pancreatic cysts, calculous pancreatitis, pancreatic fistula).
- Operations for gall bladder pathologies and bile ducts (gallstones and common bile duct stones, choledoch strictures, biliary fistula, etc.), reconstructive operations for bile duct pathologies.
