Gastroenterology Department provides successful treatment of abdominal cavity organs: GERD, esophagitis, peptic ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori (HP), chronic cholecystitis, pancreatitis, chronic hepatitis, chronic colitis, segmental enteritis, nonspecific ulcerative colitis, adaptive colitis, intestinal dysbacteriosis and liver cirrhosis. Department applies new diagnotisc methods: quick diagnostic test of Helicobacter pylori infection, research of biopsy samples from distal end of the duodenum during diarrhea of unknown origin, identification of hepatitis B and C viral markers, determination of the forecast and possibility for treatment of viral diseases (determination of Knodell score or histologic activity index).
